How to design on-brand QR codes that still scan

QR codes don't have to look like 1990s newsprint. With the right error-correction level, you can add logos, swap colors, round the dots, and frame the code without sacrificing scannability.

Use error correction level H (~30% redundancy). Pick a logo no larger than 25% of the code. Keep contrast high - the foreground should be much darker than the background.

Test on real devices. iPhones, Androids, and feature phone scanners all read QRs slightly differently.
